Jefferson Security Bank Announces Earnings for the Third Quarter and First Nine Months of 2011

President and CEO of Jefferson Security Bank (OTCBB: JFWV), K. Stephen Morris, announced the results of operations for the third quarter ended September 30, 2011. Third quarter 2011 net income was $155,301, or $0.54 per share. Net income for the nine months ended September 30, 2011 was $559,977, or $1.94 per share.
As of September 30, 2011, total assets of the Bank were $278.2 million, loans, net of reserve, were $137.0 million and deposits were $254.6 million. The annualized return on average assets was 0.27%, and the annualized return on average equity was 3.70% for the nine months ended September 30, 2011. At September 30, 2011, net loans to deposits was 53.81% and book value per share was $72.67.
